have to give it to roddick, he is still motivated. i thought after wimbly he might lose that. he worked really hard before ao 2009 and he's doing it again. kudos to him. ao 2010 should be a good one for tennis fans.

I agree with you homo. That match will forever stay in his mind, and I feel for him as he played the tennis of his life. He can still win some GS's because his lightning serve isn't going away soon. I just think if he could up the other areas of his game, such as a stronger forehand, baseline game and just changing up his game, he could be victorious again.

A-Rod is such a good guy. I just love him for his dedication and determination (among other things.) He worked so hard in the "off season" during 2008. He lost weight and worked on his backhand, his slice and his volleys (I love it when A-Rod and Marat volley, it's so admirable because you just KNOW that it isn't an area of their games that comes naturally, even more, it just seems....contradictory. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger speaking English. But they do it anyway and can come up with some brilliant stuff. Awesome.)

No doubt the Wimbledon final (particularly that tie-breaker) will haunt him, but he's a real toughie. By the start of next season he will know that he gets to have shots at Majors all over again. And there is no way he'll let those opportunities slip without giving all of his sweat and blood to try and make something of them. It's just not in his character.

Go ahead A-Rod! Glad to hear it is all coming along well. Keep it up!
